Abstract
<jats:p>Silver selenide (Ag<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>Se) is a ductile material with a low lattice thermal conductivity that can be a valuable substitute for both PbSe and Bi<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>Se<jats:sub>3</jats:sub> for Pb toxicity free and Bi scarcity.</jats:p>
