A questionnaire that included demographic data and a survey of Chinese values was distributed by mail to Chinese entrepreneurs in Malaysia and Taiwan. A total of 95 questionnaires from Malaysia and 70 from Taiwan were returned. The results showed that perceptions of the importance of Chinese values are quite similar among Chinese entrepreneurs in Malaysia and Taiwan, and that some differences might be explained by social context. Overall, Chinese entrepreneurs in Malaysia perceived Chinese values to be more important than did Chinese entrepreneurs in Taiwan.
This article is in English.
The Perception of the Importance of Chinese Cultural Values
