This study aims to explore the AI-personalized learning skills among undergraduates in Malaysia. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with five undergraduate students from various academic programs. This study employed purposive sampling with two criteria: respondents had to be currently enrolled in a degree program and have experience using AI tools. Four themes were generated from the data collected: academic skills, editing and designing skills, critical thinking skills, and self-motivated learning skills. These findings offer valuable insights for educational stakeholders regarding emerging AI tools in instructional settings and create awareness of how these tools can enhance students' personalized learning. © 2025 IEEE.en-USartificial intelligenceMalaysiapersonalized learning skillsundergraduatesStudentsAcademic programArtificial intelligence toolsDegree programLearning skillsPersonalized learningPersonalized learning skillSemi structured interviewsUndergraduateUndergraduate studentsArtificial intelligenceA Preliminary Study: Artificial IntelligencePersonalizing Learning Skills Among Undergraduate Studentstext::conference output::conference proceedings::conference paper
